Peel Soft Serve makes delicious soft serve ice cream using only two ingredients: bananas and coconut milk. They use “rescued” bananas, saving tens of thousands of pounds of bananas that would’ve ended up in a landfill and not in grocery stores. In addition to the dozens of original flavors that constantly rotate, they offer acai bowls, smoothies, and juice shots.

Valeria Alvarez started Peel Soft Serve to offer Miami delicious frozen treats that are a lot less guilty than traditional ice cream, and that can be enjoyed for dessert, breakfast or an afternoon snack.

Valeria started the biz at the Farmer’s Market in Legion Park, then expanded to a food truck, and in 2023 opened her first brick and mortar in Miami Shores. In addition to the Miami Shores location, the original bright yellow food trailer (aka the Peel Mobile) is open 7 days a week in the Design District.
