Important information for Orlando ↔ Miami Guests.

Effective December 10, 2025

Guests traveling between Orlando and Miami must check in any bags that are larger than a carry-on with a Guest Service Agent.
To view relevant baggage fees please view the Fee Schedule.

 

For travel to all other stations.

  • Boca Raton and Aventura stations do not accommodate checked baggage. Guests traveling to Boca Raton or Aventura with bags larger than a carry-on will need to pay a fee and carry them onboard.
  • Guests traveling to or from Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach and Orlando may be asked to carry a checked bag on board based on availability.

Standard Checked Baggage

  • All checked baggage up to 24" x 16" x 10" or 50 lbs. will be charged the applicable checked baggage fee.
  • All bags must be checked in at the Guest Service counter at least 30 minutes prior to train departure time.
  • Each PREMIUM Guest receives one complimentary standard checked bag.

Large Checked Baggage

  • Any bag larger than a carry-on, must be checked.
  • Any baggage between 25" and 33” in height or 51 lbs. and 70 lbs. will incur a higher fee.
  • Checked bags may not exceed 70 lbs. or 33" x 22" x 15" in exterior dimensions.
  • Golf bags are considered large checked baggage. Learn more about the Sports Equipment Policy here.
  • All bags must be checked in at the Guest Service counter at least 30 minutes prior to train departure time.

General Baggage Questions

Each Guest may bring:

  • 2 complimentary carry-on bags, plus
  • 1 personal item (e.g., small purse, backpack, or tote bag)

Carry-on items must not exceed 50 lbs. or 24” x 16” x 10” in exterior dimensions. All bags larger than a carry-on and within the approved limits must be checked in with Guest Services.

 

All other bags that are within the approved size and weight limits may be checked in for a fee.

A small bag like a purse, briefcase, laptop bag, or tote that fits under the seat in front of you.

Yes, checked baggage is available at Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, and Orlando stations and must be added during booking to guarantee space. Musical instruments may be carried on board as part of a passenger’s carry-on allowance and may not exceed 64" in height.
