Brightline Introduces New FLEX Fare Options, Expanding Choice and Flexibility for Travelers to or From Orlando
Miami, FL (Sept. 9, 2026) - Today, Brightline announced that the company is introducing new fare options offering guests more flexibility and choice. The new FLEX fares cater to guests traveling to or from Orlando who value complete flexibility, such as business travelers, international guests, and those whose travel plans may change after booking.
Guests can now choose travel in SMART or PREMIUM service coaches with a range of fare flexibility:
- FLEX: our newest fare option to or from Orlando allows guests to cancel for a refund to their original form of payment or change their trip without a change fee;
- SELECT: with limited options for trip modifications; or
- SAVER (only available in SMART): the most economical way to travel with Brightline to or from Orlando.
The onboard and in-station experiences associated with those classes remain unchanged. The range of fare benefits include:
- Cancellations: FLEX fares have the ability to be canceled at any time with no additional fee and a full refund to the original payment method. SELECT fares can be canceled and receive 75% credit to their Brightline Wallet. SAVER fares are cancellable, but do not retain any credit.
- Modifications: FLEX fares can be modified prior to day of departure for only the fare difference or on the day of departure to any other departure on the same date for free. SELECT fares can be modified for a change fee and applicable fare difference at any time. SAVER fares cannot be modified.
- Luggage: FLEX fares include one large bag, two carry-on size bags and a personal item. SELECT fares include two carry-on size bags and a personal item. SAVER fares include one carry-on size bag and a personal item.
- Airport Connections: FLEX fares include a complimentary one-way airport transfer between Brightline MiamiCentral and Miami International Airport, or between Fort Lauderdale Station and Fort Lauderdale – Hollywood International Airport via Brightline's Airport Connector Shuttle.
As ridership continues to grow and guest profiles further diversify, Brightline identified a need for a fully flexible fare product that appeals to travelers who require greater flexibility.
"We understand that travel plans can change, sometimes unexpectedly," said Julie Sharenow, VP of Sales, Brightline Trains Florida. "That's why we're committed to offering fare options that provide our guests with the flexibility they need to book with confidence. By expanding choice and giving travelers greater control over their journeys, we're making it easier for our guests to travel on their terms while continuing to deliver the exceptional experience they expect from us."
