GIANT CRICKET BALL ARRIVES AT BRIGHTLINE FORT LAUDERDALE STATION TO CELEBRATE FIRST ICC T20 WORLD CUP 2024 IN THE USA
Fort Lauderdale, FL (May 22, 2024) – Cricket World Cup fever has arrived in Broward County! The first-ever ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 is taking place in the United States and Broward County has launched a giant traveling Cricket Ball activation to celebrate the matches taking place at the Broward County Stadium in Lauderhill, Florida this June.
Today, the Cricket Ball visited the Brightline Fort Lauderdale Station, which is 15 minutes from the Broward County Stadium. Broward County’s giant Cricket Ball has already wowed visitors at Las Olas Beach and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
The first ICC-sanctioned stadium in the U.S., Broward County Stadium in Lauderhill is one of three United States sites chosen to host the international sporting event. The matches start in Broward County on Tuesday, June 11 with Sri Lanka vs. Nepal, pick up again on Friday, June 14 with USA vs. Ireland, continue on Saturday, June 15 with India vs. Canada, and end on Sunday, June 16 with Pakistan vs. Ireland.
