Eases Florida Intercity Rail Bookings
MIAMI (Sept. 9, 2024) – Brightline, seamlessly connecting travelers to top destinations and major events between Central and South Florida, is partnering with AccesRail, the world leader in the distribution of seamless air-rail intermodal solutions. On the eve of the one-year anniversary of the rail service connecting Miami and Orlando, bookings can now be made from around the world, combining a comprehensive Florida vacation across the state’s most visited tourism regions.
The partnership utilizes AccesRail’s innovative expertise to enable Brightline to make its train tickets available on all important GDS sales platforms for the first time. Using booking code - 9B - travel partners from around the world can now easily book rail segments between South Florida and Orlando in a similar fashion to flights on all GDS systems including Amadeus, Sabre and Travelport. The Brightline Orlando Station presented by Orlando Health is located directly within Orlando International Airport and shuttles to Miami International and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International airports can now be booked for a seamless connection from respective downtown stations.

Brightline expanded service to Orlando in September 2023, connecting thousands of guests each day between the “Theme Park Capital of the World” and “Cruise Capital of the World.” The intercity rail service with South Florida downtown stations in West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, Aventura and Miami makes it easy to travel between Orlando International Airport and these city centers and their many attractions. Cruise Ports near Brightline stations include Port Miami, Port Everglades and Port of Palm Beach. Cruisers sailing from Port Canaveral can connect to transportation at Orlando International Airport. Travelers from across the globe can book the hospitality-driven rail service to connect to their favorite Central or South Florida destination.
AccesRail is a distribution company enabling Partner Railways to distribute their products via the Global Distribution System (GDS) primary screen using the same booking and ticketing method as airlines. All fund collection and reconciliation are done through IATA BSP. Travel agents don’t need any special contracts to book and ticket rail products on the airline display of their favorite GDS.
