MIAMI, FL – Brightline, the only provider of modern, eco-friendly, intercity rail in America, has been announced as the official train partner for the 21st annual Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival presented by Capital One (SOBEWFF®), taking place February 24 - 27, 2022.  As part of this sponsorship, Brightline will offer dedicated complimentary shuttles for riders traveling into MiamiCentral Station directly to South Beach. The shuttle departs approximately 10 minutes after each train arrival into MiamiCentral. These Brightline shuttles will be available from Thursday, February 24 - Sunday, February 27. 

 

For the first time, riders can reserve a complimentary Brightline+ ride, Brightline’s new door-to-door booking service, for quick and seamless transportation to all of these events. Brightline riders are encouraged to book a shared or private ride, at least 2 hours in advance. During this action-packed weekend, all three Brightline stations in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach, will offer $5 drink specials.

 

The Festival welcomes fans of the culinary world to experience bites, sips, and the expertise of over 400 renowned chefs, culinary and lifestyle personalities, winemakers, and spirits producers at over 70 events throughout the weekend. 

 

Guest can expect to see a star-studded lineup of culinary greats such as Food Network’s own Rachael Ray, chef and humanitarian José Andrés, Bizarre Foods’ Andrew Zimmern, youngest-ever MasterChef finalist Nick DiGiovanni, and Guy Fieri, Mayor of Flavortown. The Festival will feature events such as Goya Foods’ Grand Tasting Village,  Red Stripe Burger Bash presented by Schweid & Sons® hosted by Rachael Ray and José Andrés and many more.

 

Being the nation’s largest wine and food event, SOBEWFF® is expecting over 60,000 attendees this year. All net proceeds from the Festival benefits the Florida International University Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management. To date, over $31.8 million has been raised for the school.
