Nicolas Petrovic, CEO

Nicolas brings a distinguished career in global rail and mobility leadership to his role as Chief Executive Officer of Brightline Holdings.

 

He previously served as CEO of Eurostar in London, where he led the company’s transformation into a best-in-class, profitable private railway operator. Prior to that, Nicolas was CEO of Etihad Rail Mobility in the UAE, where he established the organization and led the development of the country’s first passenger rail projects, spanning conventional and high-speed rail.

 

Earlier in his career, Nicolas held senior leadership roles with French Passenger Railways, overseeing multiple high-speed rail initiatives, and served as CEO of Siemens France, where he managed operations across Energy, Mobility, Industry, and Smart Infrastructure. He currently serves as Chairman of the Independent Advisory Board to the West Coast Partnership in the UK, the shadow operator for the HS2 high-speed rail program. In recognition of his contributions to business and industry, Nicolas was named a Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur, France’s highest civilian honor.
