World Ballet Competition 2025

Watch as beautiful ballerinas and powerful male dancers pirouette to glory at the 2025 World Ballet Competition’s Finals. Over 300 competitors representing 25 countries around the world will compete for $350,000 in cash prizes, scholarships, dance apparel and job offers! These classically-trained competitors are scored by seven judges using an exclusive computerized scoring system similar to the Olympics and the only one of it’s kind in the world for an international ballet competition! See it in person at the Linda Chapin Theater where all seats are complimentary with a suggested $10 donation. All competition rounds are also broadcast LIVE on the internet! The World Ballet Competition (WBC) was founded in 2007 by Vasile Petrutiu, Executive Director of the Central Florida Ballet.

Since its inception, the World Ballet Competition has grown exponentially in size because of its unique elements: an instantaneous scoring system that promotes transparency and eliminates favoritism, and an internet broadcast watched by hundreds of thousands of viewers providing global visibility.
